Plongez dans la programmation estivale dynamique du CF Toronto Eaton Centre, avec des activités d’apprentissage, de jeux, de musique en direct et des sessions interactives d’heure de puissance.

Hey, gossip lovers! You know what will always be in? Free events! So let’s spill the tea on Toronto Eaton Centre’s programming!

If you’re in Toronto, you’ve likely seen random pop-ups and lines across the city. Yet, in my experience, Toronto CF events haven’t received the hype they deserve—this is the one event you don’t need to reserve nor do you have to show up an hour early to secure your spot.

With events covering four different categories–CF Learn, CF Power, CF Live Music and CF Play–there’s guaranteed to be something to do curated to your interests and passions!

CF Learn

In fact, just this past Saturday, my friend Charlene Hatcher invited me to accompany her to a CF Learn event hosted by LUSH on how to make your own bath bomb. In case you didn’t know, LUSH is one of my all-time-favourite brands! Why? Due to its amazing products that fight animal testing — which is still sadly a practice with other companies. After the stress and pain of going through surgery just a few weeks ago, I definitely needing a self-care pick-me-up day, and this event was the perfect opportunity to do so.

As we entered the mall, we headed to the event, located at MAC Court, which is right by the fountain. As soon as the LUSH employee opened the gate, we got to be the first group to experience the creation of the intergalactic galaxy bath bomb!

Blue, pink and yellow bath bomb

This quick and easy process helps you leave happy and with a new bath bomb for you to plan your next relaxing evening! Here is a step-by-step tutorial:

  • Charlene wearing blue gloves
  • Circular moulds
  • Blue powder layer
  • Pink powder layer
  • Yellow powder
  • Repeat
  • Finish!

If this bath bomb piques your interest, you can purchase it at LUSH for $9.50!

If you want the tea on similar events, join MAC Cosmetics for a workshop that will teach you how to enhance your features with makeup! No reservations needed; simply head to MAC Court to participate in this engaging session on either June 22 or 29 at 1pm.

I didn’t have the chance to sip onto the latest scoop with CF Power Hour, CF Live Music or CF Play firsthand. However, let’s explore what’s on their itinerary!

CF Power Hour

Hey trendsetters, you know the famous quote from Mean Girls: “On Wednesday, we wear pink.” Well, what’s trending now is that on Wednesdays, we head to CF Power Hour! According to the CF Power Hour website, every Wednesday from 12pm-1:30pm at the MAC Court, you can enjoy “endorphin-boosting activities, with live DJs, treats and a new giveaway each month.”

To celebrate Pride month, CF Toronto Eaton Centre is featuring 2SLGBTQ+ artists every Thursdays throughout the month from 4-6pm! Coming up today is Jade, and June 27 Christine Jackson will perform. Can you think of a better way to celebrate than this lively daytime party at the MAC Court?

CF Play

For all artists out here, unleash your creativity with art supplies on June 23 from 11am until 2pm at the MAC Court. At that same time, bring your kids to get face painting!

On June 30, from 11am until 3pm, join host Dawn Made into decorating a Pride-themed cookie at the MAC Court.

On a similar note, other CF events coming up is the Toronto Queer Market, happening since June 17, until June 23.

Don’t miss the Drag Brunch on Sunday, June 23rd at either 11am or 2pm on Level 2, Albert’s Way. Support some of Toronto’s top drag performers while enjoying a delightful meal.
