Créer des Cornets: Comment les saveurs créatives de Good Behaviour confortent la communauté

Hey, trendsetters! Today, let’s spill the tea on our weirdest yet most satisfying cravings- and how Good Behaviour ice cream helps us achieve them.

In our hardships, we often crave comfort food. That can be burgers, pizza, or ice cream, my personal favourite.

In fact, co-owner Eric Chow explains that the Good Behaviour logo represents someone holding up the ice cream as if it were a trophy—representing people who survived the pandemic.

To spread more joy, the head pastry chef uses his passion for illustration to create engaging, creative characters on over 150 different ice cream flavours, which audiences of all ages can relate to!

From what appears to be dark chocolate, matcha cookies and cream, grapefruit, and bubble gum, these ice cream cartoons provide a vibrant personality relatable to ice cream fans!

Following the pandemic’s challenging moments, Good Behaviour ice cream comforts customers with its handmade, unique flavours, which reminds them of home and good memories. What better ice cream than homemade ice cream that doesn’t use stabilizers and creates this wonderful dessert from scratch with good-quality ingredients?

Whenever I visit my cousins’ home, my family and I sit down for a nice cup of chai as we talk and share good memories. As I’m living five hours bus away from home, I don’t get to live that experience as often as before, and I frequently miss that drink associated with that fond memory of mine. With Good Behaviour‘s June ice cream flavour, “Afternoon Tea,” I can get the sweet taste of chai in the form of my favourite comfort food: ice cream.

During a warm and engaging in-person conversation, the co-owner, Eric Chow, shared how his cultural inspirations have shaped him and inspired him to open a culinary business that embodies these influences, making every interaction happy.

“An ingrained part of my Chinese culture is how we greet someone. If you’re greeting someone, you’d actually use a greeting like ‘Have you eaten yet?’”

He acknowledges the universal intersection between culture and food, a shared experience for various cultural communities.

With such cordial and welcoming values, Chow has partnered with his co-owner, Michael Lam, to bring a reassuring and comforting homey experience, especially during the pandemic.

Good Behaviour Ice Cream is not just a local business, it’s a community hub that values and actively engages with its neighborhood.

“We recycle the money that comes into our business by hiring the people around us. We support all the schools, institutions and hospitals in our local community. My daughter goes to the school across one of our locations, and I go to the gym across the street,” said Chow.

In addition to integrating himself and his family into the community, he promotes the joy and comfort of ice cream at an affordable price point by offering amazing deals!

Take advantage of the fun! Join them at the community event on July 12 and 13 with @potterydream.to to handbuild and wheel an ice cream bowl and receive a free scoop of ice cream! It’s just one of the many exciting events they have planned for you.

You also get the chance to visit any of the three Good Behaviour ice cream locations before July 14 and try the wild cherry sorbet — a collaboration between Good Behaviour and Cottage Springs to promote their launch of the wild cherry vodka soda — which they will offer complimentary samples of the product as well.

You can check out more of these events or promos on Good Behaviour‘s social media! Find them on Instagram, Facebook or TikTok for more! Stay tuned for future kiddie scoop happy hours, BOGO pint sales or holiday bonus packs!

After a fantastic ice cream experience, I wonder if the expression “spill the tea” will soon be replaced with “spill the ice cream!”
