Escapril Day 10: Fog

I try to walk with a clear direction in mind,
Yet the world seems to fog around me. 

I could previously memorize a whole page in five minutes,
Now, I can barely remember my coffee order.
Since taking my bladder problem's medications,
The biggest side effect: brain fog, has taken over my life.

My grades slip,
My memory too.
My life slips,
Everything in me seems to agree.

I start telling my friends a story,
And I forgot what I was saying halfway through.
I start to write a sentence,
And I lose my chain of thought as I'm writing -- I am right now.

From walking in and forgetting what I came for
To words disappearing from me in an instant,
This brain fog leaves a clear direction foggy --
Unable to remember much or see my thoughts clearly.
